1. The Principal and her teachers shall provide educational classes to Primary Level Students according to the list of subjects outlined in APPENDIX I.
2. The Principal and her teachers shall offer educational services from Mondays to Fridays with the exception of Public Holidays.
3. In the event that a Student misses a class, parents must ensure that the student reviews the work done on that particular day.
4. In the event that the Teacher assigned to the class misses a session, a make-up session will be scheduled by the Teacher on a date and time as agreed between the Parties.
5. Each educational session facilitated by the Teacher assigned to the class and offered to the Student shall be for a minimum of forty (40) minutes per session and a maximum of sixty (60) minutes per session.
6. The educational services provided by the assigned Teacher to the students shall be in a group format.
7. The Parent/Student shall compensate The Scholars Learning Institute in accordance with the fees outlined in APPENDIX II.
8. The fees referred to in Paragraph 7 above and Appendix II below shall be monthly/termly fees for the educational services provided by the Teacher assigned to the class and shall be nonrefundable once classes have begun for the month/term in question.
9. Each student shall be entitled to 20-25 daily sessions per month depending on the number of weeks in a particular month.
10. Each Parent/Student shall be obligated to pay the necessary fees referred to in Paragraph 7 above and Appendix II on the dates outlined by the principal.
11. Where before the start of a teaching month/term, a Parent/Student has indicated to the Principal or teacher assigned to the class that due to personal circumstances the Teacher will not be required to provide educational services to the Student for that month, there will be no obligation on the Parent/Student to make any payment in accordance with Paragraph 7 above and Appendix II below.
12. In the event that the Parent/Student has failed to pay the required fees for the educational services provided by the Teacher assigned to the class, the Principal, at her discretion, shall decide whether or not educational services shall continue to be provided to the Student while fees remain unpaid.
13. In the event that the Principal in her discretion has decided to suspend the provision of further educational services to the Student due to the non-payment of student fees after classes have started for the respective period pursuant to Paragraph 10 above, the Parties agree that the Parent/Student shall still be liable to compensate the school full monthly/termly student fee for the educational services provided to the Student.
14. The Parties agree that the Principal shall retain all legal rights and remedies to recover student fees due and owing, including but not limited to initiating legal action to recover the said due and owing student fees.
15. Monthly fees are due on the 28th of the prior month on must be paid no later than the 1st of the new month for each new month. Full-term payments are due at the beginning of each term. If paying in two parts, the first 50% is due on the 28th of the month before the term begins and the second 50% is due on the 28th of the first month of the term. Fees for preschool students are required for any part thereof within the month/term.
16. Preschool students’ fees are required for each term of all academic years that the student is enrolled to maintain their spots at the school and advance in level. These fees are also required until the end of their final term at the school which also includes the graduation period.
17. Each Parent/Student shall complete the intake form at APPENDIX III.
18. Should a parent desire to remove their child from the school, the administrator/principal of the school should be notified in advance.
19. Late payments will require the payment of the late fee as outlined by administration.
